So you've created a roleplay, and it's quite impressive. Now it's time to fill up that world with some pretty sweet characters to match! Just like my previous guide, everything here is just a suggested form. You are free to take away from, add to or completely ditch this entirely! The power is in your hands!

Just keep in mind that if you're joining someone else's game they will likely ask you follow a specific lay out.

Now, why don't you head on over to the Character Index where you'll be able to make a thread to store the characters for your roleplay. Depending on the content of your game, you'll end up in either Character Profiles or Adult Character Profiles. Once you make your thread it's time to create your character!

The Basics

  • Name
  • Age
  • DOB
  • Eye Color
  • Hair Color
  • Height
  • Body Type

  • Physical Description or Picture - Description, animated or realistic. It's usually specified by the creator so that the entire character list follows the same theme.
  • Equipment- Does your character carry a weapon? But keep in mind it doesn't always have to be a weapon or armor. It can be a high end camera or collection of bottle caps.
  • Abilities - From magic powers, athleticism to natural charisma.
  • Personality - Here is where you'll list the good, the bad and the ugly.
  • History/Background - Give as much information as you wish about your character here, or keep it very simple an mysterious.

When you feel your character sheet depicts everything exactly how you wish, go ahead and share it! When submitting character profiles to games, be sure to follow any rules or specifications given by it's creator. Usually it is asked to be sent privately so that it can be reviewed and accepted before posting.

Also, if you're feeling adventurous why not use our Character Journals or Adult Character Journals feature to add another layer of depth to your character! Anything from a personal diary to an mp3 playlist, use the tool however you see fit!
